PLS® is committed to being a good neighbor

At PLS, we believe strongly in becoming a member of the communities in which we do business — and in contributing to the growth and development of the neighborhoods in which our stores are located.


This spirit is demonstrated in PLS's annual Back-To-School program, which awards cash and school supplies to schools. Over the past two years, PLS has contributed more than $75,000 to local schools. The program was honored with the prestigious Activa Award by the Financial Service Centers of America (FiSCA), the professional trade organization representing the nation’s financial service center providers. The Activa Award is given annually to neighborhood financial service center providers that demonstrate outstanding examples of involvement and investment in the communities in which they do business.


Other charitable initiatives include the awarding of bicycles to students with perfect attendance, the annual Arbor Day planting of a tree for every employee, and donations of computers and electronic equipment to local schools and charities.


PLS is a proud supporter of the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and many other national and regional charitable organizations.
